Define the decision first
Selecting a market, validating demand, choosing an entry route and coordinating a launch are different assignments. State the commitment leadership is considering and the deadline for that decision.
Price the evidence required
Desk research, customer interviews, competitor analysis, pricing tests and partner checks require different time and sources. Ask what evidence each workstream will produce and what it cannot establish.
Make local expertise visible
Translation is not local market knowledge. The proposal should identify who understands the language, category, channels and business practices in each target country.
Separate regulated advice
Legal, tax, customs and licensing opinions should come from qualified specialists. A lead consultant may coordinate them, but the commercial proposal should show their scope and cost separately.
Compare outputs and implementation
Request a defined set of deliverables, decision gates, owners and a route from strategy to pilot. The cheapest report may be expensive if the internal team must rebuild the implementation plan.
How ICON IMAGE scopes the work
ICON IMAGE begins with a diagnostic brief, then structures market intelligence, entry-route design, positioning, partner strategy and project coordination around the next bounded decision.
